2009 - RECENT ACTIVITIES

BSK honored Mr.Manohar Prasad, Chief of Bureau, Udayavani & Mr. Agnel Rodrigues-MD. Coastal English News Channel Mangalore for their immense service & support to our Sangha in the field of publicity & e-media during their recent visit to Kuwait (14-11-09).		BSK handed over IRS.50,000/- cheque to Sri.Yediyurappa - Cheif Minister of Karnataka's 'Flood Relief Fund', which was collected from Committee, Members, friends & well-wishers of Sangha during picnic-2009 as humanitarian aid.

BUNTS GET TOGETHER-09

                                  Kuwait Bunts ...proved  its unity.... in celebrating  its First (year 2009) in-door ...Bunts (only) Get-together ......in 10th April 2009 Friday ......at Indian Comm. School, Khaitan.         BSK thanked all valuable members for their support & co-operation which led to  the success of this program

Buntara Sangha-Kuwait (BSK) has its new office-bearers for the year 2009. AGM held in 5th December 2008, at Indian Public School, Salmiya. BSK's successful 'BUNTOTSAVA-2008'

 in commemoration of 7th year

with mega programs.

   BSK to spread the essence of Tulunadu with Mega Cultural shows: .......... Exciting dances by kids and ladies............ 'BHUTA'ARADHANE' by Bunts members ................ Yakshagaana - 'KOTI-CHENNAYA'  by selected and most famous yakshagaana artists from Karnataka .............!!  

Bunts Association staged most awaited cultural mega programs under the banner of  'BUNTOTSAVA-2008'  with colorful dances by kids, ladies, and 'KOLA' by bunts members along with Yakshagaana 'KOTI-CHENNAYA' by the most famous yakshagaana artists.from Karnataka on  (Friday) 30th  May 2008, at  Kuwait Fencing Society Hall, Da'iya.

The program started at 3pm with prayer by Supreetha V. Shetty and Nalini P. Shetty, followed by welcome dance by Laxmi K.Shetty and Twinkle S. Shetty. President Divin K. Menda welcomed the gathering with a speech. President, Co-ordinators, Managing Committee along with guest of honor K. Narasimha Rao, First-Secretary (Labor Welfare) of Indian Embassy inaugurated the cultural  event symbolically by lighting the lamp followed by release of Souvenir.

President Divin K. Menda, Co-ordinator Vivek Shetty Belman, and First Secretary-Indian Embassy,Kuwait, praised the team spirit of BSK in their speeches.

Yakshagaana artist Sri. Puttur Sridhar Bhandary was honored with flowers, fruits, shawl and momento. He thanked for inviting their team to perform in this part of the desert-land and requested them to continue spreading the spirit & essence of Tulunadu through cultural activities.  More Photos.....................>>
