Buntara Sangha-Kuwait(BSK)
has its new office-bearers for the year 2009. AGM
held in Friday,
5th December 2008, at
10am, at
Indian Public School, Opp. Al-Raashid Hospital, Amman Street,
Salmiya In
the beginning, 2008 committee members along with co-ordinators were
called on to the stage. The Joint Secretary Mrs. Supreetha V.Shetty
presented 2008 report followed by President Mr. Divin Kumar Menda's
speech to the audience. Treasurer Mr.Chethan Adapa presented A/c
statements. Welfare Secretary Mr.B.K.Shetty distributed Merit
Scholar-ship(S.S.L.C.)to Master Sameeth B.Shetty & honored Mr. Praveen
Kumar Mrs. Manjula P.Shetty for marrying without dowry.
Election-Chief Mr.Gururaj Shetty furnished his nomination report for the
news office bears for the year 2009. As per the report nominations are
as follows: President as: Mr. Karunakar Shetty Ajekala, Vice-President
as: Mr.Chandrahas Shetty Kathalsar, General Secretary as: Mr. Gururaj
Shetty, Joint Secretary as; Mrs. Neethu Shashi Shetty, Treasurer as: Mr.
Vivek Shetty, P.R.O. as: Mr.Pandary Shetty, Welfare Secretary as: Mr.
B.K.Shetty, Sports Secretary as; Manoj Shetty, Cultural Secretary as:
Mr. Arun Kumar Shetty.
The new office bearers were welcomed and received by Co-ordinators Mr.
Prakash Shetty Bijantla and Mr. Vivek Shetty Belman on the stage.
After the introduction of these new office bears, one of the
co-ordinators Mr. Vivek Shetty Belman in his speech welcomed new office
bearers and thanked all outgoing office-bearers. He expressed the need
of dedicated team to work for the unity, respect, support and welfare
activities towards the community.
Newly elected
President Mr. Karunakar Shetty also stressed the need of unity,
co-operation and contributions among the members which will strengthen
his effort to work more for the community.
After end of this
session, bhajan by the members has given more color to this program.
Prasadam and delicious food were served to members.
Games,quiz
& snack-lader games
were conducted for all age groups and prize distributed to all the
winners.
Program concluded
with vote of thanks and national anthem..
